Accessibility Statement
Hawthorn Management Solutions Limited
Last updated:
This statement applies to hawthorn-management.com. We want the site to be usable by as many people as possible, including anyone using a screen reader, magnification, speech recognition or keyboard only navigation.
How accessible this site is
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. We are not there yet. We know about the following:
- The hero video plays automatically and cannot be paused. Moving content that starts on its own and runs for more than five seconds must have a way to pause, stop or hide it. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.2.2.
- The site has not had a full accessibility audit. The issues listed here come from an initial review, not a complete test, so there are likely to be others we have not found.
What we have got right
- Every image carries a text alternative.
- Each page has a single main heading and a logical heading structure.
- The page language is declared, so screen readers pronounce content correctly.
- Form fields have visible, properly associated labels.
